Training

As an employer you are responsible for providing employees with basic fire training in the event of fire as per Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001.
It is a legal requirement that all employees undergo basic fire safety training at induction and periodically thereafter, expected annually in most workplaces.
By doing this, staff will be prepared in the event of fire, ensuring their own safety and the safety of other people on the premises.

The training you implement must be able to support the work of your fire safety manager, the requirement identified by your Fire Risk Assessment and your fire emergency plan.

• Fire precautions training should be repeated at regular intervals.
• All training session conform to Home Office and other relevant guidance documents.
• All Assured Fire Consulting trainers are experienced fire safety experts (ex NI Fire and Rescue Service).
• Training is preferably carried out in your workplace.
• All training and visual aid equipment is provided.
• All trainees receive comprehensive notes and attendance certificate.
